 sheet metal fabrication was established in 1946 on the original site at Compton Road Southport, in 1976 the business moved to a new purpose built facility located on Crowland Street, Southport. Over the years the premises have been expanded to the present 30,000 sq/ft.
We are specialist subcontract sheet metal manufacturer providing a high quality manufacturing service. Based in the North West of England, we specialise in providing sheet metal products to industrial sectors worldwide including aerospace, telecommunications, automotive, pharmaceutical and transport.

sheet metal fabricators has a continual investment policy that ensures keeping up with the latest technology and remaining competitive in the manufacture of sheet metal components. Our production facilities include state of the art CNC laser profiling, punching & press brakes. In 2006, we were the first engineering company in the country to invest in this high speed laser, and are still only one of three that runs this service.We have 2 lasers onsite one of which is our Fanuc 5kw linear laser that is capable of very accurate high speed production.

Welders qualified to "ASME IX coding" for aluminium and carbon steel. We gained BSI 5750 accreditation in 1987, and have progressively upgraded this to our current accreditation ISO 9001:2008 with approval for the manufacture of aircraft cabin furniture and assemblies.
